If you're wondering where to take your family or how to spend an unforgettable day with friends, here are a few suggestions from us:

Start your morning with a walk to Prohodna Cave (“The Eyes of God”), then continue on to the Stone City – a unique site with stone houses resembling the Flintstones' era. After a bit of walking and building up an appetite, you can relax in the cool gazebos in the garden of Guest House Misha, and enjoy delicious homemade meals at the restaurant of Guest Houses Misha & Contrasti in the village of Petrevene. If you'd like to stay overnight and continue exploring the area the next day, don’t forget to make a reservation in advance. You can end your day with a refreshing dip in Misha’s summer pool.

On the next day, after a tasty breakfast and some rest, be sure to visit the Iskar–Zlatna Panega Eco Trail, just 4 km from Petrevene. You can even rent a boat there to explore the beautiful river. A bit further (2–3 km) is the Golden Park, where you'll find the famous Floating House.

If you decide to stay another night at Guest House Misha, you can explore the rock monasteries “St. Nicholas” and “St. Marina”, the Saeva Dupka Cave (one of Bulgaria’s 100 National Tourist Sites), and even visit the nearby ostrich farm.
